Daytona Beach, New Smyrna, Disappearing Island, Ponce Inlet, Florida Boating and Yachting
There are so many family fun activities around Ponce Inlet that All Points Yacht and Key members make many trips to this premiere destination. In 2010, we partnered with Inlet Harbor Marina and Restaurant. The Inlet Harbor team has taken marina service to an entirely new level.
Our members find the boats in the water, fueled, clean and ready to go for their adventures. While only an hour from Orlando, you definitely feel like you are on vacation and "cheating" the system.
A favorite destination is Disappearing Island. The name is certainly appropriate. As the tide ebbs, the island grows exponentially in size. Boaters come from every side to play on the pure white sand. The views are spectacular as you look out the Inlet into the Atlantic Ocean and the Ponce light house. There is room for several thousand boats around the island and during the 4th of July weekend, the number may certainly approach that number.
Most of our members like the east and south side of the island. The larger vessels find safe passage for deep water mooring on the South side. The GPS coordinates for this mooring are: 29.04'00.22N and 80.5535.20W. There is a channel that is is visible during all tides but it is still important that you watch your depth gauge as the channel can rise to about 4 feet in average low mean tides.
Members make a day of it. You will see grills, tables, chairs, volley ball nets, horseshoes, and much more. With our sport cruisers, the island becomes a favorite spring and fall overnight destination. With a full generator set and the ability to put screens in around the vessel, members can enjoy the entire weekend on the Island which is an amazing experience.
Inlet Harbor Marina also provides the opportunity for our members to use the protected canal and seawall overnight. The dockage and power are free. Enjoy the day on the water and then head to the SeaWall to plug in for the night. Once secure, head to the restaurant and bar for a weekend or evening of memories. Members receive discounts on food and beverage. Members may also take an chartered offshore trip with Inlet Harbor Fleet at a discounted rates.
Another favorite activity is hopping from restaurant to restaurant. The following restaurants have ample access by boat to enjoy lunch and dinner.
Of course, our favorite is Inlet Harbor Restaurant located at 133 Inlet Harbor Road, Ponce Inlet FL . Great friendly ambiance and fun. Brand new deck and the sunset's are amazing.
Other restaurants with water access:
Caribbean Jack's, 721 Ballough Road, Daytona Beach FL
Boondock's Restraurant, 3498 South Peninsula Drive, Wilbur by the Sea, FL
Down the Hatch, 4894 Front St., Ponce Inlet FL
Charter House Restaurant, 1100 Marina Point Drive, Daytona Beach FL
Yet another All Points Yacht and Key Club favorite is an overnight up to St. Augustine. There are several marinas right off the historic square for overnights as well as a number of bed and breakfasts. In addition to the popular family trips, the club will be doing a member trip this year to St. Augustine so keep an eye on the schedule for dates.
Your leisure time has evolved to evolve around you. All Points Yacht and Key Club started as All Points Boating Club and ShareOurBoats.com. All Points has revolutionized boating in Central Florida. Our members share a fleet of boats worth over $1,500,000 without having to worry about the every day hassles of boat ownership. Put the fun back into your boating!
A no brainer. Easily one of the best investments I have made. The club offers time with family and new friends. Forget about owning a boat, renting worn out boats and yachts or joining a local vacation opportunity. Get it all with first class service.![]()
